Bonus Question - What's the significance of the name "max"?
Max sits in front of the amazingly beautiful Liberty Bridge! Max's name comes from the fact that he always lives life to the maximum.
ReplyDeleteWhere is zoli when I need him?

ReplyDeleteMy fingers are tripping over themselves today... try again. Is Max named Max in honor of Max Heller, Greenville's former mayor, whose dream spearheaded the projects that make downtown Greenville the lovely place it is today?
ReplyDeleteSo - JOSIAH is the winner of today's contest! He doesn't even live in Greenville, but is well acquainted with our fabulous landmarks. His prize is a sleepster (a yummy, smelly little brother to the famster). Way to go Josiah!
ReplyDeleteSmart little kharding hit the nail on the head about the relevance of Max's name. It is in honor of Max Heller - one of our forward-thinking former mayors.
Great job everyone - come back and see us again tomorrow.
NOTE: Please be patient with my spotty timing issues - I'm trying to work out kinks = getting my blog, email, and facebook out at the same time is tricky.
Oh - kharding wins a free coffee with the master famstermaker at a cozy little place in west Greenville!
ReplyDeleteCan I make mine a tea? ;-)
ReplyDeleteOh Yeah - what was I thinking??
ReplyDeleteUUUUHHHHHHHHHHHH... Golden Gate Bridge, San Franscisco?!
ReplyDeleteUUUHHHHHHHHHHH... Max means... UUUUHHHHHHH... TO DA MAX (a well known Hawaiian pidgin phrase, sometimes spoken in South Carolina)
(I know I lost this time, but I wanted to see if my intelligent post would work this time.)
It worked - try again today (Tuesday). Today's will be MUCH harder...
